Celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day with Creative Reuse Montana!

Join a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn about the traditions of parfleche and waxed food bags, enjoy a creative food experience, and make your own wax wraps to carry home a custom Montana-inspired trail mix using traditionally available ingredients.

  • Cost is $30 per person for ages fifteen and up

  • Younger creators must come with a parent - included in cost, use code FOODBAG

About Your Instructor

Sarah Mussetter is an enrolled member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe and an Artist Educator who loves helping people connect through creativity, culture, and food. Cooking is one of her favorite ways to explore tradition and community, and she's always looking for ways to soften our impact on the earth.
