Kids Spring Sewing Camp
Calling all future designers! We are hosting a day-long kids camp at Studio49 to teach the essentials of sewing by hand and machine.
If you (or your child) has a sewing machine in working order, please bring it if possible so we can practice on the machine he or she will be using at home. We have extra machines to lend as well. Students are free to bring fabric or projects if they wish – but we have a full spread of supplies, tools, and materials to share with the group.
We’ll take a group lunch break in the middle of the day – please send a packed lunch and water bottle, along with any snacks your child might need throughout the day.
Don’t hesitate to reach out to allison@vicenzi.org with any questions!
Allison Vicenzi and Lillian Eaton, local seamstresses and sewing educators, will be teaching this workshop. You can read more about their work and partnership at p49.org/sewing.
